about

Rebecca’s near death experience saved her life - physically and spiritually. She is on a mission to illuminate the way to a life of peace and freedom.

The course of Rebecca’s life was forever altered in November 2014 when on a ski trip to Colorado celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary she unexpectedly suffered a series of heart attacks caused by Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) leading to a heart transplant just weeks later. In the initial weeks post transplant, she came across the phrase “Your setback is the platform for your comeback.” She is now grateful for her scars that are the platform upon which she inspires and enables others to a life of peace and freedom in all circumstances.

Rebecca is intensely competitive by nature.  She won the fifth  grade spelling bee championship and never looked back, going on to win three high school track state championships, graduated high school valedictorian, competed in NCAA Division 1 Cross Country and Track, climbed the corporate ladder in Silicon Valley, and came back from the brink of death and a heart transplant to hike 15K foot peaks and to bravely lead the founding of PayPal’s Interfaith Employee Resource Group.

Rebecca has volunteered as an Advisory Member of SCAD Alliance, promoted the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement, served on Stanford’s Patient and Family Advocacy Council for Heart Transplant, and competed for Team USA at the World Transplant Games.
